The Great Wizard Of The Dead Bake Off

You may remember earlier on in the year several colleagues decided to have a bake off inspired by the popular Channel 4 TV Show ‘The Great British Bake Off’. Everyone in the team had so much fun so it was decided we would have a Halloween inspired bake off where people could really show off their baking skills and have a well and truly earned day off from all of our diets. Our team didn’t disappoint, and even more people got involved this time than before which was fantastic to see.

It was great to see everyone get involved. However, much like in the tent itself, not everything was plain sailing and we loved hearing about the baking disasters that had occurred the night before. From marshmallow fires to sinking cakes and puddles of brownies it’s safe to say the experience was on theme and truly horrifying! However, as they always do the team went on to pull it out of the bag with creative – and scary – bakes that looked fantastic and were most importantly delicious!

We decided to have two winners for the event, one for design and another for taste. Unsurprisingly, our designer Luke won for design with some scrumptious scary cupcakes and Facebook Ads Specialist Jade continued her winning streak for taste with her spooky sausage rolls and bloody brownies!
